Exciting about finance: Credit Dnepr Bank has provided financial training for Odesa students

25 September 2017

Employees of Bank Credit Dnepr with participation of representatives of the Independent Association of Ukrainian Banks held financial training for senior pupils of the Odessa Mariinsky Gymnasium. This event - a logical continuation of the social program of the financial institution, aimed at raising the level of financial literacy of the younger generation.

During the classroom, high school students not only checked their level of financial knowledge, but also managed to expand them thanks to the interesting performances of employees of the regional office. One of the most exciting moments of the visit, according to the children, was a tour of the bank branch, during which students of the profile economic class were able to learn more about the work of bank specialists, as well as protest the products and services of the financial institution: they learned to replenish the card in the kiosk of self-service, pay for the account for mobile communication both in the system of Internet-banking of FreeBank, and in the mobile application.

"Having financial literacy classes became a good tradition for our bank," said Tetyana Yaroshenko, Corporate Communications Director at Bank Credit Dnepr Bank. - And we always respond with pleasure to the request of educational institutions to organize such events in our offices throughout Ukraine. I am happy that children with a great interest react to such initiatives and come to visit us. It is important for us to share our financial knowledge with schoolchildren, not only making the lesson of financial literacy interesting, but also filling it with the maximum practical benefit for children. "

According to the students, the lesson of financial literacy helped them to get answers to questions they were interested in, about the finances, the safety of handling bank cards, and to answer the main question about the choice of profession. Katerina, 14, said that she had a great time and learned a lot of useful practical information. "I have already decided on the profession, and today's excursion further convinced me of the fact that I want to link it with finances," he shared his impressions of a schoolgirl's financial literacy lesson.

The series of financial trainings does not end here - new lessons are planned by the Bank for Credit Dnepr in October and will be confined to the International Day of Savings, which is annually celebrated on October 31.
