Credit Dnipro Bank took the 8th place in terms of financial support in 2020, received by the bank's clients within the program of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture. A total of 33 banks joined the program. Thus, more than 30% of clients of the Agricultural Sector of Credit Dnipro Bank received compensation for the interest rate on attracted bank loans in the national currency in the amount of UAH 23.6 million from the state budget of Ukraine.
According to the program, partial compensation amounted to 1.5% of the NBU discount rate for the period from January to October 2020. Credit Dnipro Bank acted as an agent between its own clients who took out loans from a financial institution and the Ministry of Economy. Financial support of the agro-industrial complex is provided by reducing the cost of loans on the basis of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers №300 with all changes and additions.
"The Bank's cooperation with the Ministry of Economy lasted for several months in 2020 - after the signing of the Memorandum. We plan to continue participating in the ministry's projects in 2021 to provide our clients with all the opportunities offered by the state, including in the direction of compensation, "said Tetyana Poplavska, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Corporate Business.
Agricultural development is one of the strategic directions for the bank. The financial institution provides services to farmers in financing current needs, in cash and settlement services and lending for the purchase of agricultural machinery.
Credit Dnipro Bank is one of the TOP-20 financial institutions in Ukraine in terms of gross assets and according to the classification of the National Bank of Ukraine is in the group of banks with private capital. As of November 1, 2020, the bank's assets amount to UAH 10,955 million, the authorized capital is UAH 1,280 million.
