Bank Credit Dnipro provides an opportunity to receive state financial assistance Veteran sports on Diya.Card, created by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in cooperation with Ukrainian banks. This is the only card for payments under various state programs.
Following e-Book, the second such program was the Veterans' Sports program.
Veterans' Sports is a state financial assistance of UAH 1,500 per quarter for war veterans to pay for sports activities. The service can be used by combatants and people with disabilities as a result of war.
To apply for Veterans' Sports, you must:
- have a verified RNOKPP;
- be over 18 years old;
- have the status of a combatant (UBD) or a person with a disability as a result of war (OIVV), entered in the Unified State Register of War Veterans;
- open a special Diya.Card account for Veteran sports at Bank Credit Dnipro, if it has not been opened before;
- submit an application in the Diya application.
The application must be submitted by the 20th of the first month of the quarter.
For example, to receive a payment in the first quarter of 2025, the application must be submitted in the Diya application by January 20.
The money can be used to pay for services in the field of physical culture and sports: in gyms, sports grounds, sections and clubs with the seller category code 7941 (Physical Culture and Sports).
The funds must be spent in full or in part during the quarter in which they were accrued.
For example, assistance received in the first quarter must be spent by the end of March. Assistance received in the second quarter - by the end of June.
The unspent balance at the end of the quarter is returned to the Ministry of Veterans' Affairs account.
Some rules:
- if the user does not use the assistance during the quarter, the funds are returned to the Ministry of Veterans' Affairs, and participation in the program is automatically terminated. To receive payments in the next quarter, you must re-apply through Diya.
- if the assistance is partially used, the unspent funds are returned to the Ministry of Veterans, and UAH 1,500 is automatically credited to the next quarter.
- funds are credited quarterly to a special account of Diya.Card from Bank Credit Dnipro or other authorized banks of Ukraine.
The Veterans Sports program is more than physical activity, it is an opportunity for veterans to restore their psychological health, find support, create new social connections and feel part of the community. Sport becomes a tool that helps overcome challenges and open new horizons for a full life.
