How to send a wire transfer to the Welsend system?

You can send a transfer at any Welsend Client Service point.
The commission for sending the transfer is paid only by the sender (for payment of the transfer the commission is not paid).
Immediately after receiving the reference number, the transfer will be available for payment to the recipient.

To send a remittance you need:

  • Contact the nearest Welsend System;
  • To provide the transaction-holder with a passport or a replacement document;
  • Notify the transaction amount, currency, country of receipt, name of the recipient and method of receiving the transfer;
  • Report the transaction number to the payee (if the transfer must be credited to the payment card);
  • Notify about the availability of the Client's card * (if you have one);
  • Sign an application for sending a transfer, which is executed by an operator and send cash to the cash desk;
  • Notify the recipient of the reference number of the transfer, which will be notified to you by the operator and recorded on your copy of the transfer request;
  • The transfer is ready for payment immediately (on-line) after sending.

After sending the transfer, only the sender can make changes in the recipient's name if he has a statement on the transfer of the transfer and a passport or a document that replaces it. Changes to the transfer can be made if the transfer is not paid to the recipient.
If the transfer was sent with the participation of two payment systems Welsend/IntelExpress***, payment of the transfer will be carried out outside Ukraine in the IntelExpress payment system.

 

Return of transfer.

Return of transfer is possible only to the sender in the presence of an application for sending a transfer and identity document, and only if the transfer has not yet been paid to the recipient.
Return of transfer is possible in three cases:

  1. The sender himself initiates the return of the transfer (the commission for the transfer is not returned);
  2. The transfer was not received within 30 days after the shipment ** (the transfer fee is not returned);
  3. The recipient of the transfer was not able to receive the transfer from the Welsend System fault (the transfer fee is returned).

What is the control number of the transfer?

Each transfer is assigned a unique 10-digit control number of the transfer, the receipt of which suggests that this transfer is already available.
The sender of the transfer must notify the Recipient of the reference number of the transfer.
The control number of the transfer is one of the mandatory details for the transfer payment.
When making a transfer involving two payment systems (Welsend / IntelExpress), the transfer is assigned 2 transfer control numbers, 1 of which belongs to the Welsend System, 2 belongs to the IntelExpress system.

Limits on sending money transfers in foreign currency through the Welsend system beyond Ukraine

 

Sending a transfer outside of Ukraine

Without supporting documents from a current account in foreign currency or without opening it (at the client's request) - for an equivalent amount not exceeding UAH 399,999.99. in one operating (working) day.

From a current account in foreign currency - for an amount equivalent to or exceeding UAH 400,000. in one operational (working) day on the basis of supporting documents

* The client's card can be used if transfers are made on the territory of Ukraine in the national currency-hryvnia.

**** Confirmatory documents for resident individuals include contracts (contracts), invoices, letters of settlement or letters of notification of non-resident legal entities, foreign bodies, letters of attorneys or notaries of foreign countries, statements of claim, invitations ( calls), documents relating to family relationships or their notarized copies, and other supporting documents used in international practice. Confirmatory documents (except for documents on family ties or their notarized copies) must contain the following details: the full name and location of the recipient, the name of the bank and the details of the account for which the transfer is made, the name of the currency, the amount to be paid, the purpose of payment.

How to get money from the Welsend system?

You can receive a wire transfer at any Welsend System customer service point.

To receive a remittance you need:

  • To give the transaction a passport or a document that replaces it and to provide the control number of the transfer;
  • To notify the transaction amount and currency of the transfer, the sender's name;
  • Sign an application for a transfer, which is executed by an operator;
  • Receive cash on hand.

What is the control number of the transfer?

Each transfer is assigned a unique control number of the transfer (10-digit - if the transfer was sent through the agent of the Welsend System), the presence of which suggests that this transfer is already available.
The sender of the transfer must notify the Recipient of the reference number of the transfer.
Only the one who knows the control number of the transfer may receive a remittance addressed to him, as the control number of the transfer is one of the essential requisites for the payment transaction.

About the international money transfer system of the "Welsend"

The "Welsend" system is an international money transfer system, created by JSC "UKRGASBANK", which allows you to make transfers quickly, reliably and profitably, both within the territory of Ukraine and beyond. The "Welsend" system cooperates with the international payment system IntelExpress (sending/payment of transfers involving two international payment systems: Welsend and IntelExpress).

The "Client Card" has the following discounts upon reaching a certain amount: 

  • from UAH 10,000 - 0.05%;
  • from UAH 100,000 - 0.1%
  • from UAH 500,000. - 0.2%

The card is not a means of payment for initiating a Transfer and is valid only on the territory of Ukraine 

The transfer sent in the "Welsend" System is available for payment within 30 calendar days from the date of sending the transfer.

Dispute settlement procedure

Financial claims of Clients are considered and answered directly by the Direct/Indirect participant / Partner of the "Welsend" System to whom he provided Transfer services. To resolve the dispute, the Client submits a statement-claim to the Direct/Indirect participant/Partner, who conducts an appropriate investigation based on this claim. If necessary, the Client provides the Direct/Indirect participant/Partner with the necessary evidence to support the claim. If necessary, the Direct/Indirect participant/Partner applies to the payment organization to resolve the Client's claim. The emergence of disputes between Direct/Indirect participants/Partners and/or Clients shall not affect the performance of properly initiated Transfer operations. The term for resolving disputes is determined by the Direct/Indirect participant/Partner, in accordance with the internal documents of the Direct/Indirect participants/Partners. The Direct/Indirect Participant/Partner who received the claim is obliged to satisfy the justified demands of the applicant.
