In April 2017, Ukrainians, taking into account the re-registration, placed in Bank Credit Dnepr more than 4.7 thousand deposits in the amount of more than half a billion hryvnia. The growth of the deposit portfolio on the basis of last month amounted to 33.2 million UAH, of which in foreign currency - 17.6 million UAH in equivalent.
As before, deposits for a period of six months or more occupy 85% of the portfolio, and almost all client deposits with the bank - with a fixed repayment date (98% of the portfolio). Forecasts of bankers on the further dynamics of deposit rates remain unchanged: the trend of decline will continue.
"Today we can say that the deposit market has completely stabilized and banks are confidently reaching the pre-crisis level. Rates, for example, on deposits in hryvnia on the market continue to decrease on average by 0,3-0,5% per month. In financial institutions there is no longer a need to attract an expensive resource to strengthen its liquid base. Due to this circumstance, the credit market began to grow much more actively: banks systematically lower lending rates primarily for business, and this is one of the most important components in the development of the country's economy, "said Andrei Moisjeenko, Deputy Chairman of the Bank's Credit Dnepr Board.
