Bank Credit Dnipro, continuing a good tradition of familiarizing the younger generation with financial culture, conducted a lesson in financial literacy for Lviv schoolchildren. Students of grades 6-7 of the private school "Erudit" visited the bank branch and took part in a cognitive event.
The lesson about structure of the financial literacy differs from the usual school activities - great attention is paid to interactive communication and competitions, a tour of the department is necessarily conducted. During the lesson Lviv schoolchildren were able to get acquainted with the work of bank specialists, learn about what is included in the list of professional duties of the head of the department, the sales manager and the cashier, and learned how to use various banking services. As a result of the excursion an interesting dialogue took place - the guys actively asked questions, were interested in the principles and peculiarities of the bank's work. Some even thought about linking their future profession with banking. Talking about his impressions, 11 years old Igor noted that it was interesting and informative. "Thanks to a lesson in financial literacy, I learned how to draw up a family budget, plan my expenses and most importantly - I saw how the bank's specialists work," the schoolboy commented on the participation in the event.
"Financial literacy lessons have already become a visiting card of our bank," said Tatyana Yaroshenko, corporate communications director at Bank Credit Dnipro. - We are happy that our initiative is very actively responded to by colleagues from the regions who, in fact, plan and conduct lessons, as well as our partners. In particular, friends from the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine regularly provide useful educational materials and souvenirs for participants of events. Thanks to this interaction, we conduct interesting and useful lessons for tomorrow's banking clients across Ukraine."
This lesson of financial literacy don`t end - in the queue of new cities and educational institutions, whose students due to the thematic classes held by the bank will be able to open the door to the fascinating world of finance.
