In June 2020, the volume of customer transactions in the Internet banking system of FreeBank Bank Credit Dnipro increased by 12% compared to the previous month, exceeding 52 thousand transactions. About 850 new users joined the service last month, the total number of FreeBank users is almost 16 thousand customers.
"Taking care of the health and safety of our customers, we motivate them to make maximum use of remote banking channels as the most technological, convenient and safe," said Denis Mikhov, Business Development Director of Credit Dnipro Bank. - During the quarantine, more than three thousand new retail customers have joined our FreeBank internet banking service. We try to make this service as comfortable as possible for customers by ensuring secure management of their finances 24/7: in particular, we have recently expanded the functionality, giving customers the ability to independently manage CVC2 / CVV2 code in the web version of the service when paying for goods and services on the Internet ".
The banker also drew attention to the resumption of the positive dynamics of non-cash payments of customers by payment cards in retail chains: in June, their volumes increased in monetary terms by 5% to May and 15% to April. In the structure of calculations, the most dynamically increased areas that were significantly affected during the period of strict quarantine measures - non-food products, clothing and footwear, travel services, cafes and restaurants.
"Life and business activity are gradually returning to normal, while the advantage of non-cash payments and remote service channels remains a useful habit and an important element of financial culture," - said Denis Mikhov.
