"Today's difficult realities and new challenges require banks to make effective decisions designed to minimize the negative effects of severe restrictive measures on the financial condition of business and the general public," says Denis Mihov, Business Development Director, Credit Dnepr Bank. - We take care of our customers and are ready to meet them in the event of a truly force majeure, loss of revenue due to emergency and quarantine. At the same time, we count on the responsibility of our clients and their understanding of the need to fulfill their financial obligations as a key condition for the stable operation of banks, the financial system and the economy of the country. "
The banker stressed that, under current law, restructuring is not a debt forgiveness, but a set of measures that will help borrowers affected by an emergency and quarantine survive these difficult times and get back on their feet after they are completed. When restructuring a loan, the borrower does not pay penalties and penalties for late repayment of debt, but at the same time is not exempted from payment of his obligations under the loan agreement, that is, the overdue debt remains obligatory until full repayment in the first place.
