About the Ria transfer system

The Ria remittance system is one of the leaders in the field of providing money transfer services in the world. Today, CONTINENTAL EXCHANGE SOLUTIONS, INC. You can send and receive transfers in two currencies - US dollars and euros. Receiving or paying for a transfer in the currency of another country is carried out at the current exchange rate.

In accordance with the restrictions established by the NBU (Decision of the Board of the NBU dated February 24, 2022 No. 18), foreign currency remittances are not sent outside of Ukraine during the period of martial law.

Payment for the transfer is made at the expense of the sender, the recipient does not have to make any additional payments. The transfer is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of sending the transfer. If you don't pick them up, the money is returned to the sender.

You can get information about the list of participants in the Ria transfer system, the location and hours of operation of the nearest service points, and check the status of the sent transfer on the system's website.

Ria is intended for non-commercial transfers between individuals.

How to send a money transfer

In accordance with the restrictions established by the NBU (Decision of the Board of the NBU dated February 24, 2022 No. 18), foreign currency remittances are not sent outside of Ukraine during the period of martial law.
 
Transfers through the Ria system can be sent at any Ria customer service point (where not prohibited by law).
 
The commission for sending the transfer is paid only by the sender (the commission is not paid for the payment of the transfer).
 
Immediately after receiving the control number, the transfer will be available for payment to the recipient.
 
To send a money transfer, you must:
  • contact the nearest point of the Ria system;
  • provide the operator with a passport or a document that replaces it;
  • inform the operator of the amount, currency, country of receipt of the transfer and the name of the recipient;
  • sign the application for sending the transfer, drawn up by the operator, and deposit money into the cash register;
  • inform the recipient of the control number of the transfer, which will be communicated to you by the operator and which is written on your copy of the application for sending the transfer.
  • After sending the transfer, only the sender can make changes to the name of the recipient of the transfer, if he has with him an application for sending the transfer and a passport or a document that replaces it. Changes to the transfer can be made if the transfer has not been paid to the recipient.
 
 
Tariffs for sending money transfers
 
Operations under the money transfer system are carried out on behalf of and for the benefit of natural persons in compliance with the legislation of Ukraine, in particular in the field of prevention and countermeasures against the legalization (laundering) of proceeds obtained through crime, the financing of terrorism and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, as well as the rules established by the payment system Ria.
 
 
Return of transfer
 
The transfer can be returned only to the sender if there is an application for sending the transfer and an identity document, and only if the transfer has not yet been paid to the recipient.
The transfer can be returned in two cases:
 
  1. when the sender himself initiates the return of the transfer (the commission for the transfer is not returned);
  2. the transfer was not received within 25 days after sending** (the transfer fee is not refundable).
 
What is a transfer control number?
 
Each transfer is assigned a unique 10-digit transfer control number, the receipt of which indicates that this transfer can already be received.
The sender of the transfer must inform the recipient of the control number of the transfer.
Only the one who knows the control number of the transfer can receive the transfer addressed to him, since the control number of the transfer is one of the mandatory details when making a payment transaction.

How to receive a money transfer

You can receive a transfer at any point of customer service of the Ria system.

To receive a remittance you need:

  • turn to the nearest point of the Ria system;
  • to provide the transaction officer with the passport or replacement document and to provide the control number of the transfer;
  • inform the transaction agent of the amount and currency of the transfer, the sender's name;
  • sign the application for the transfer, which is executed by the operator;
  • receive mamount of money transfer at the checkout.

What is the control number of the transfer?
Each transfer is assigned a unique reference number, the presence of which indicates that this transfer is already available.
The sender of the transfer must inform the recipient of the reference number of the transfer.
Only the one who knows the control number of the transfer may receive a remittance addressed to him, because the reference number of the transfer is one of the mandatory details for the payment transaction.

How to change the requisites or cancel the transfer

In the event that an error has been made when filling in the details, it can be corrected. To do this, you will need to come to the branch office of the partner bank of the identity card system and provide the payment information. Information can only be changed if it has not yet been issued to the recipient. No additional commission will appear at the same time.
Cancellation of funds is carried out in the same way as changing the details of the payment. No additional payment is required for this transaction, and the sender immediately receives the amount of the transfer back. The commission may be returned or not returned - it depends on the terms of the transfer and the specific requirements of the system partner. It is impossible to cancel the transfer to the recipient.

Procedure for resolving disputes between participants and users of the RIA system

All disputes arising between participants and users of the Ria money transfer system (senders and recipients of money transfers) must be resolved through negotiations, as well as in court in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.

Information about the service

The service of sending and paying Ria transfers is provided on the terms of the joining agreement, which is a form for sending/receiving a transfer in the form established by Ria. It is not possible to make changes and additions to the form for sending/receiving a transfer.
The client-initiator of the transfer has the right to withdraw from the contract before depositing the funds of the transfer to the Bank's cash desk.
The amount of costs to be paid by the client and/or the procedure for determining them, including taxes, is contained in Ria's Tariffs.
Tariffs contain the amount of costs to be paid by the customer and/or the manner in which they are determined, including taxes.
Out-of-court consideration of customer complaints is carried out by the Bank considering customer complaints and statements in the manner and within the time limits specified by the Law of Ukraine "On Citizen Appeals".
Guarantee funds and compensation schemes when the client receives the service (if the amount of the transfer is not credited to the client's account opened in the Bank) are not provided for by the legislation of Ukraine.
